Delirium Causes, Diagnosis and Treatment
Delirium Causes, Diagnosis and Treatments – Dr Mani Berghout 5:47
This microlearning aims to explain what is delirium, what causes it, how it can be recognised it, and what to do about it. Delirium is a sudden change in a person’s mental state, that is characterised by fluctuation in attention and awareness. Unfortunately, it could happen to anyone; hence this microlearning provides evidence base recommendations that could be helpful for the patient, their carers, and different allied health professionals.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
