About the Wollotuka wellbeing resources

Community consultation with University of Newcastle students and staff, and Our Nguraki provided feedback on these resources.

The resources are based on Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander perspectives of health and wellbeing and Contextual Behavioural Science: bringing knowledge systems together to help students and community.

The Wollotuka Institute and University of Newcastle has permission to crop the image to use throughout the creation of resources to portray wellbeing – with each use of the artwork being approved by the Artist. Animals used are symbols of strength and wellbeing and are not intended to have any totemic affiliations. We recognise and respect dot painting originated in Central Australia and our artist uses a mix of traditional and contemporary practices within her work.
