Update on proposed program and course changes

Following the email sent to students on 20 October, we would like to thank students who have submitted feedback on the proposed course and program changes taking place from 2021. Your Faculty Board student representative will be sharing your feedback with University staff at Faculty Board meetings later this month, and the final decisions about changes to programs and courses will happen in early December.

Rest assured, you will still be able to complete your chosen degree, however some of the courses within it may change. We will write to you again in December to explain any changes to your degree, and you’ll be able to see the timetable for 2021 Trimester and Semester 1 from mid-December.

Enrolment for Semester 1 and Trimester 1, 2021 will be open in early 2021. This date has been pushed back slightly to allow time for planning of COVID-safe classes and changes to courses as outlined above. Class allocations following enrolment will only be one week later than usual as our teams work tirelessly to ensure you start 2021 on the right foot.

Dates to remember:

  • Confirmation of Course and Program Changes – early - mid December, 2020
  • Timetable for 2021 Semester and Trimester available – mid-December, 2020
  • Enrolment opens – early 2021
