Alumni House Design Competition shortlist announced
Excitement is building around plans for an Alumni House to connect our 155,000-strong global alumni physically and digitally and give back to the next generation of students.
Just like with the Great Hall, a gift from the community in the 1970s, the University hopes to raise $10 million in philanthropic support for the project over the next two years. The University will then commit $5 million, as well as the site at 231 King Street, Newcastle, towards the project once the fundraising target is achieved.
Congratulations to the four finalists selected in the competition to design the space:
- Candalepas Associates + David Boyle Architect
- Durbach Block Jaggers
- Sam Crawford Architects + Curious Practice
- Tonkin Zulaikha Greer
