The NU Marine autonomous boat engineering team competed in the Maritime RobotX Challenge at the Sydney International Regatta Centre. After a four-year hiatus, 20 international teams came together to compete and build international relationships.

Against nearly 30 national and international entrants, the 2022 NU Racing group took home the best result in their 20-year history of competition; fourth place overall, and second in the vehicle efficiency category.
