Delegation from Nihon University visit Callaghan campus
A delegation from Nihon University including Mr. Masato Hirano, Chief Extraordinary, Mr. Hiroaki Namiki, Deputy Director Extraordinary, and Ms. Yuri Kumagai, Associate Chief Extraordinary from the Newcastle Campus Project Office visited the University of Newcastle Callaghan campus. During their visit they participated in tours of the Language Centre, NUsport and the Student Accommodation facilities.

Nihon Faculty of Law Visit Newcastle
In June a delegation from Nihon University’s Faculty of Law visited Newcastle. Key objectives of the visit were to inspect the new Nihon University Campus, particularly the refurbished and heritage listed Court House building and to meet with the University’s School of Law and Justice.

University of Newcastle signs agreement with Nihon University
Nihon University in Tokyo, and the University of Newcastle signed an agreement on 1 February 2024 to support operations of the new Nihon University Campus located at the former Newcastle Court House in Church Street, Newcastle East when it opens in August this year.
