Empowering women through financial literacy
Mariam Mohammed is the Co-founder of MoneyGirl, a startup dedicated to improving women's financial literacy and empowerment. MoneyGirl believes that every woman deserves the freedom to make her own decisions, and the knowledge to make the best decisions for her wellbeing.
At I2N's Startup Stories at I2N Hub Honeysuckle on Wednesday 18 October, Mariam shared her inspiring journey from migrant to award-winning entrepreneur. Outside of being a co-founder, Mariam is the Host of The Great Tangent & co-runs Ignite the Leader Within, a leadership training focused on decolonising leadership and empowering women to lead with authenticity, intuition, and inclusivity. Mariam coaches changemakers on how to be formidable leaders of impact, without compromising their values and wellbeing.
