Raising Funds for Scholarships and Beyond
Staff teams from across the University faced off for the annual Glen Avery Trivia Night, now in its tenth year.
Each year, the Student Central team brings staff together to raise funds in honour of their late friend and colleague, Glen Avery, and help students through the Glen Avery Memorial Shaping Futures Scholarship Fund.
Staff from 18 teams across the University – including Student Central, Libraries, the Wollotuka Institute, International Admissions and other areas – raised $3,335 through the event. This brings the 10 year total funds raised from the trivia nights to $36,730 to support scholarships for deserving students in need.
This year’s Disney Pixar theme sparked some cute and creative costumes. Well done everyone!
