SMART continues to expand in Northern NSW
The SMART Program was excited to welcome six new presenters to the team in May: Adam, Erin, Elyse, Hayden, Kelly and Sharni, who now join Charlotte, Laura, Nathan and Stephanie! Our presenters enjoyed connecting with families, educators and service providers at the 5th annual ‘You’re Kidding Me Expo’ in Glendale on May 17th.

NSW regional alliance takes centre stage
A healthcare partnership that aligns clinicians and researchers across the Hunter New England, Central Coast and Mid-North Coast districts of NSW has been accredited by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) as one of Australia’s first Centres for Innovation in Regional Health.

Telehealth trial connecting rural kids to better nutrition
A new Hunter Medical Research Institute nutrition project supported by nib foundation will use telehealth technology to bring a dietitian “virtually” into the homes of rural families who need more support to improve eating habits and achieve a healthy weight.
