Why I donate
My father’s kindness shaped the way I see the world. He would quietly give to schools or people in need and remind us, “If you give to others, God will give you more, and you will never be empty-handed.” Those words stayed in my heart.

Why I donate
"Giving back to the communities we’re part of is very important to us. Providing scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people studying health degrees enables us to make a practical difference in the lives of people living in regional and remote communities."

Creating a better tomorrow, together
Across the University, our community is united by a desire to make the world a better place. The Staff Donor Collective is one area creating ripples of positive change through regular payroll donations.
The University of Newcastle acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands within our footprint areas: Awabakal, Darkinjung, Biripai, Worimi, Wonnarua, and Eora Nations. We also pay respect to the wisdom of our Elders past and present.
