Early Entry Offers

Congratulations on receiving your one and only early offer through our Early Entry Program. Please note the offer is conditional on your completion of the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) or International Baccalaureate (IB) in 2025.

  • Early Offer Day 1: Thursday, 11 September 2025
    For applications received between 9 April and 4 September 2025.
  • Early Offer Day 2: Thursday, 2 October 2025
    For applications received between 5 September and 25 September 2025.

You will have seven days to accept your early offer and secure your place at the University of Newcastle.

Important UAC dates

  • 30 SEPApply to UAC and pay just $82. From 1 October, the fee jumps to $215.
  • 13 NOV — If you applied for SRS by the 5 September deadline, offers will be released in November Round 1.
    We’ll also make SRS offers in November Round 2 and December Round 1.
  • 23 DEC — December Round 2 is when offers based on ATARs and IB scores will be released.
  • 08 JAN — We’ll continue making ATAR- and IB-based offers in January Round 1 and January Round 2.
  • 22 JAN — January Round 2 is the final UAC round the University of Newcastle will participate in.
