Description
This course will give the student the opportunity to learn all important surgical approaches for Trauma and War surgery in a stepwise approach. Specially created documented surgical videos will help teach and visualize to the student all necessary parts of each operation. This course is a compulsory course in the Military Specialisation.

Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course students will be able to:
1. Explain and properly apply different surgical approaches to military injuries and diseases.
2. Evaluate and construct arguments that apply problem solving skills in the Surgical management of military injuries.
3. Analyse advantages and disadvantages in various scenarios with military injuries or diseases in a critical manner.

Requisite
Students must be active in the Master of Traumatology [12392] program to enrol in this course.
