Description
This course utilises and extends upon the diverse research skills delivered in ARBE3121 and utilised in various courses throughout the Bachelor of Construction Management (Building) (Honours) degree program
The course provides students with the opportunity to apply the philosophical, theoretical, ethical, methodological, and analytical concepts and processes previously introduced in ARBE3121. Whilst these skills will have been utilised during assessments in that course (and possibly others in the program) this is the first opportunity that students will have been given to define, articulate, and develop a research project of their own. This will require them to design, and execute an appropriate investigative methodology, leading to coherent and credible research outcomes. These should be fit for purpose, and consistent with the expectations of the audience, which may include academic and/or professional end-users.
