Examinations

Examinations are conducted at the end of every semester and trimester. Not all courses have formal examinations. Please note that exams are scheduled to run Monday - Saturday and we do run exams commencing at 6pm.

You will be notified if you have to sit for a formal examination in your Course Outline that you will receive during the first two weeks of the course. In most courses, assessment is via a mixture of progressive assessment such as assignments, quizzes etc. and in some cases a formal examination at the end of semester.

If you are due to sit for formal examinations, it is your responsibility to be available for the entire examination period. Formal written examination sessions take place on prescribed dates within the periods specified and may include Saturdays and evenings.

PLEASE NOTE: The Purdue Room is a room in the Great Hall on the Callaghan Campus.
