Welcome to Special Collections, incorporating

This is the home of the historical and cultural memory of the University and its regional context. We are located on level 2 of the Auchmuty Library, University of Newcastle, Australia.
Access to materials held in Special Collections is available through our Special Collections Reading Room. Bookings are essential and must be made at least two working days in advance via our Library Bookings and Appointments. The Reading Room can be booked Monday to Friday between 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Please provide as much information as possible regarding the material you would like to access so we can best assist you.
