Keeping in Touch with the RC Store
In an ever-changing research environment the RC Store needs to be able to communicate important information with our stakeholders. To do this we use a number of tools.
Mailing List
The RC Store mailing list is used to keep our stakeholders informed of upcoming events (e.g. trade displays), changes (e.g. urgent product recalls) and Store News (e.g. stocktake and holiday closures).

RC Store Newsletters

RC Store Newsletters keep you up to date with all of the latest RC Store News including; procedural changes, closures (e.g. for stocktake), new and special order items, manufacturer and RC Store item deletions, safety information, upcoming Trade Displays, and of course the Garden Update. RC Store Newsletters are distributed to the mailing list as a pdf at the beginning of each month.

RC Store Catalogue

The RC Store carries a wide range of laboratory consumable and minor equipment items. The catalogue includes basic laboratory necessities such as glassware, PPE, simple chemicals and plasticware through to specialised items such as molecular biology and tissue culture reagents. In a number of product categories, multiple brands and qualities of the same product type are available. |

Our dynamic product range is constantly being adjusted to meet the needs of current UoN research. We are happy to expand the range and encourage researchers to offer suggestions for new products or selection improvements. RC Store Catalogues are published biannually and are distributed to the mailing list as a pdf. Catalogue pricing is accurate only as of the publication date. All pricing is subject to variation based on supplier price fluctuations. For pricing confirmation please contact the RC Store.

Trade Displays
Trade displays are held on Wednesdays at Callaghan Campus in LS2-32/33 (tearoom) and in DMB200 (Foyer) at the City Campus.
If you are approached by a supplier representative to host a trade display or identify a company you would like to see hosting a trade display please feel free to contact the RC Store at health-stores@newcastle.edu.au.
The majority of upcoming trade displays are advertised in RC Store Monthly Newsletters.
