Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is the average result of all the grades achieved throughout your degree. Your GPA is calculated on a 7 point grading scale where 7 is the highest and 0 is the lowest achievement. Fail grades are included in the calculation. This calculator should be used as a guide only and is an estimate of your GPA.
The GPA calculator can help you determine if you are eligible for scholarships, programs such as Honours, and or admission to other universities.
Please contact UoN Enquiries if you need an official GPA or check the GPA Calculation Guidelines for more information about the calculation.
How it works
1. Identify what grade you received for each course
*Ungraded passes (UP) are not usually included in the calculation of a GPA, for exceptions see the GPA Calculation Guideline.
You may also see the following Administrative Codes listed on your academic record, these codes are not included in the GPA calculation
|WW||Withdrawn Without Penalty|
2. Enter the total units for each grade and click on calculate GPA. **Refer to above example for how to calculate number of units**.
For an official GPA calculation, you need to complete a Standard letter request form (PDF, 69KB). There is a $20 charge for this letter.
