Description
Research Communication forms part of the Honours Program in Exercise and Sport Science. This course utilises students’ skills and knowledge in the development and communication of research directions. Students will provide an overview of their selected research project and share ideas around aims, objectives, boundaries of research and methodology. Students will listen and respond to questions regarding the direction of their research and be able to communicate and adapt their responses to the audiences understanding of the topics.

Learning outcomes
On successful completion of the course students will be able to:
1. Communicate research findings that positions conclusions within a student's overall field of enquiry.
2. Demonstrate a range of communication strategies for presenting research in field of study to a wide variety of audiences.
3. Display professional conduct and practice.
4. Apply learned procedures for undertaking a successful research project within the field of Exercise and Sport Science.
Content
- Establish research topic, identify relevant literature, formulate research question, undertake a literature review, design appropriate research methodology, and formulate a research proposal.
- Advanced capacity to clearly communicate research findings through a presentation and/or oral examination.
