A Homestay is where a local family, couple or single person offers full board in their home. Staying in a homestay is a safe, welcoming and supportive option for students new to Newcastle, Australia and university life.

It's a great option to help transition from living away from home or if you're new to Australia. The University of Newcastle has partnered with Australian Homestay Network (AHN) as our preferred provider for under-18s overseas students. AHN will look after finding you the perfect fit for an extraordinary experience.
