About our students
Our students are learning how to be excellent oral health therapists…before they attend to you, they are provided with all the training required to deliver the treatment. They are also supervised throughout your treatment and as they make decisions regarding your care.
When you visit us
Please bring a list of current medications and dosages to your appointment (a computer printout from your GP is especially helpful) & your Health Care Card or Concession Card.
We try to ensure you remain with the same student throughout your treatment however, this is not always possible.
Parking
Limited parking is available outside the Oral Health Clinic and requires a valid parking permit. Please collect this permit from Reception. You must park in a space indicated with a sign reading “Oral Health Clinic.”
Emergencies
As this is an educational facility for students - any urgent treatment and treatment for severe toothache is not able to be provided. Please see a dentist. Patients with complex medical or dental needs are advised to contact a private dentist or CCLHD call centre on 1800 679 336 if eligible for treatment in a public dental clinic.
