Dietitian Telehealth Clinic
We offer personalised dietary assessment and support via a Nutrition and Dietetics student-led telehealth clinic.
The service is provided remotely via Zoom, under the supervision of an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
Services
We are accredited to provide nutritional support services to adults of all ages, including:
- Assessment of food & nutrient intake
- Eating behaviour support
- Personalised goal setting
- Healthy eating advice for a range of conditions, including Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and weight management.
Please note: Some complex conditions requiring consistent dietetic care may not be able to be catered for within the clinic setting.
Our students are learning how to be excellent dietitians. They are provided with all the training required to deliver the dietary assessment and support. They are also supervised throughout your consultation and as they make decisions regarding your care.
Consultations are available Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings from January to mid-November each year.
No referral is necessary.

What you need
Our clinic is all online. Our services are provided via telehealth using Zoom and will need a computer or mobile device and access to an internet connection suitable for making video calls. You will be provided with further information on the Zoom video call platform after you have booked your session.
During the session
Upon booking you will be asked to complete an intake form to provide the clinic with your background and current usual dietary intake. During a 30-minute individual consultation, a student dietitian will work with you to develop personalised goals and provide advice, strategies and resources to support you to optimise your diet. An Accredited Practising Dietitian will supervise the session and two additional students will observe the consultation.
Who can book?
The service is currently available for adults (aged 18 years and over) seeking dietary support for a range of conditions including type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes/insulin resistance, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and/or weight management. Please note that conditions requiring consistent dietetic care cannot be catered for in the clinic (for example, eating disorders, elimination diets (e.g., Low FODMAP diet), or nutrition/hydration planning for sports events)
