Young and Well paragraph
The Young and Well CRC unites young people with researchers, practitioners and policy makers from over 75 organisations to explore the role of technology in young people's lives, and to determine how those technologies can be used to improve the mental health and wellbeing of those aged 12 to 25.
Dr Richard Fletcher from the University's Family Action Centre is coordinating a program to transition young Aboriginal men to fatherhood through a user-developed website. Stayin' On Track will involve young Aboriginal fathers from Newcastle, Tamworth and Moree as co-developers of the website, telling their stories and testing a mood tracker smartphone app linked to support from respected mentors.
