The University of Newcastle and the Australian National Fabrication Facility (ANFF) present the Newcastle ANFF Hub, a fabrication facility making specialist equipment and expertise available to industry, researchers, and students.

Through the provision of specialist research infrastructure, know-how and troubleshooting services, the Newcastle ANFF Hub is helping innovators realise their research potential and gain global advantage with their products. The Newcastle ANFF Hub offers extensive and unique capabilities in design, development and fabrication of nanostructured electronic materials and devices.

The Newcastle ANFF Hub Core Competencies:

  • Functional Printing  – helping to translate developments in the laboratory into printable products that can be produced at scale by industry.
  • Rapid Prototypingtranslating research innovations into proof-of-concept, production ready prototypes and systems.
  • Surface Characterisation – A suite of surface characterisation tools to identify and understand the fundamental properties of printed layers.
