Mr David Toll

David Toll has extensive expertise in finance, information technology, data science and business process reform. David is an experienced senior leader whose roles have spanned the public, private and university sectors.

Since joining the University of Newcastle in 2020, David has undertaken the role of Chief Operating that involves oversight of most corporate functional teams.

Prior to joining the University, David operated an independent consulting business focused on information technology and finance advisory services.

Previous recent organisational roles include Chief Information Officer and Chief Finance Officer at CSIRO, as well as other senior Commonwealth Government roles.

David is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has held directorships of four companies in the finance, telecommunications and services industries.
