Dr Eileen Doyle
National Leadership Award - 2019
Dr Eileen Doyle has had an extensive career in large corporations. In 1993 she was Australia’s first Fulbright Scholar in Business Management. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. She was Chairman of Port Waratah Coal Services,
The Hunter Research Foundation and Deputy Chairman of CSIRO. She recently stepped down as a Director of the GPT Group after 10 years. Her present roles include Director, Oil Search Ltd, Boral Ltd and The Hunter Angles Trust. She has also had a long history of being a business angel and working with inventors and small businesses to introduce and grow their products.
She is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Association of Angel Investors and the author of “Call a Business Angel “( Practical Funding and Commercial Advice for Start-Ups, SMEs and Innovators).
