About the I2N Lean Startup Workshop Series
I2N Lean Startup Workshops are highly interactive and prime participants for the world of innovation and entrepreneurship. Each workshop focuses on a fundamental aspect of lean startup methodology. These methods provide a simple structured approach to taking a potential business idea and turning it into a real business quickly, cheaply and with a higher degree of success. The premise of this approach relies on getting consistent and valid customer feedback throughout the development process to ensure that the product or service being built is going to add value to the customer.

Customer Validation Workshop

Learn the key principles of testing and validating a potential business idea. Identify a customer's problem, derive a solution and create a simple value proposition that effectively communicates the value of your solution to the customer.
Business Models Workshop

Learn the key principles of how to develop a business model using the Business Canvas Model including how to map, design and improve your business idea.
About Product Design Workshop

While completing a Master in Business Administration at UON Siobhan is responsible for the Integrated Innovation Network (I2N), the University’s network of innovation hubs, which allows members working on high-growth potential businesses to engage in creative, social and technological innovation and entrepreneurship and be supported to work with partners to create startups and new businesses across our region.
What is I2N?
The University of Newcastle's (UON) Integrated Innovation Network (I2N) links innovation hubs with programming designed to support and develop innovation and entrepreneurship across the Hunter region. The hubs within the I2N include Three76 Hub (Newcastle CBD), Dantia Smart Hub aka DaSH (Charlestown), Upper Hunter Hub (Muswellbrook) and DSA-18 Hub (Williamtown).
