Our 2025 Industry Open Day brought together over 300 industry and community partners to mark 60 years of innovation and collaboration at the University of Newcastle.
The event showcased our commitment to driving regional development and fostering meaningful partnerships through a dynamic program of professional development sessions, facility tours, and networking opportunities.
Highlights included:
- Interactive professional development sessions covering cultural capability, student placement supervision, and building your brand and talent pipeline through collaboration with higher education
- Exclusive tours of our state-of-the-art Modern Manufacturing Workshop and Advanced Prototyping Facility

The evening culminated in a networking reception where attendees continued to explore partnership opportunities while celebrating six decades of transformative research and education in our region.
