Whether you’re looking to give back as a mentor or gain insights and support as a mentee, this program is designed to foster meaningful one-on-one connections that support your personal and professional development.

Imagine having someone in your corner who’s walked a similar path – or being that guiding voice for someone just starting out. With flexible options to connect virtually or in person, it’s easy to get involved in a way that fits your life and goals.

Matching is the first step in building a successful and rewarding mentoring relationship. Once you submit your Expression of Interest, the Office of Alumni Engagement will carefully review your submission to understand your background, career journey, goals, areas of expertise or interest, and what you hope to gain from the experience. This helps us to create the most thoughtful and well-aligned matches possible.

Whether you're looking to give back or grow forward, we’re excited to hear from you and support you on this journey.

As places in the program are limited, and matches are dependent on suitable pairings, we may not be able to match everyone in each round of the program. However, all submitted expressions of interest are kept on file and treated as priority for future mentoring opportunities.

Mentors and mentees are expected to meet between 3-6 times (approximately monthly) within their 6-month pairing to maintain momentum and build a mutually beneficial connection. Mentoring partners are free to meet more regularly if preferred.

Meetings can be online, in-person, or hybrid, depending on your partnership preferences.

Help a fellow graduate reach their full potential by sharing the insights and lessons you’ve gained along your own journey. Mentorship is about empowering others through the wisdom of experience. Whether you’re nearby or across the globe, and whether you choose to connect online or face-to-face, our program offers the flexibility to fit your schedule, making it simple to get involved and create a meaningful impact.

As a mentor, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Reflect on your own career journey and achievements
  • Strengthen your coaching, leadership, and communication skills
  • Gain new insights from emerging professionals
  • Grow your professional network
  • Give back to the University and alumni community in a meaningful way.

Looking for career clarity, confidence, and meaningful connection? A mentor can help you THRIVE.

As a mentee, you’ll be matched with an experienced graduate who understands the challenges you’re facing and can guide you as you find your footing, explore your options, and take your next step with confidence. Whether you prefer virtual or in-person meetings, the program offers flexibility and accessibility, making it easy to get involved and grow, no matter where you are.

As a mentee, you will be able to:

  • Learn from someone who’s walked a similar path
  • Receive support with career planning and goal setting
  • Discover fresh ideas and new professional opportunities
  • Build confidence in your chosen direction
  • Get honest, informal feedback in a safe and supportive space.
