Community Gardens

The Community Gardens are a place on campus to exercise your green thumb or simply relax in a peaceful spot that’s blossoming with life.

Located on Oval 4, behind the Birabahn Building (home of the Wollotuka Institute) at Callaghan, and on the southern side of the library and to the back of the Student Hub at Ourimbah, the gardens grow a seasonal range of fruit, vegetables and herbs.

These are sustainable endeavours where students and staff can grow (and sample!) fresh, organic produce and make new friends.

Get involved

Volunteering ranges from working bees and clean-ups to planting days and harvests, with a weekly watering roster as well.
