        Disseminating research: Writing journal articles
The structure of a journal article is generally based on a formula for what elements of the content should go where. The idea of this presentation is to provide an outline of the structure of a journal article, not to mention other forms of academic writing. By providing a guide as to what has to be written next and how the article should flow from start to finish, this model can help avoid the risk of falling into the doldrums commonly known as ‘writer’s block’.
