Navigating the Hunter Building
The Hunter building is made up of 3 levels but is dispersed with a variety of ramps and stairs that separate the levels and sometimes confuse students (and staff) in finding the quickest and easiest way to access rooms.
HA rooms are found on the upper level of the building. The easiest way to enter this level is either via the front entrance next to the Griffith Duncan Theatre, or from the walk way next to the Hunter Cafe and go up the stairs or ramps to the upper level. You can also enter from the rear of the building next to UON Global (across from the Bar on the Hill). This entrance opens directly onto the upper level where some HA rooms are located.
HB rooms are found in the middle level of the building. The best way to access this level is to enter via the side walk way next to the Hunter Cafe.
HC rooms are found in the lower level of the building. You can enter this level from the rear of the building next to UON Global (across from Bar on the Hill). HC01 and HC02 are located down the stairs as you enter the back of the Hunter Building.
HE rooms are found on a the level below HC. You can enter at the Hunter Cafe Entrance, head past the cafeteria and shop, the turn right and head up the ramp, take the first left and follow this until you see a descending staircase on the left, go down these stairs to the HC level, turn left and follow until you see another descending staircase - these stairs will take you to HE level, if you continue further down these stairs you will get to HG level.
Richardson Wing (RW rooms)
The Richardson Wing, next to the Hunter Building, is where many of the Nursing lectures and tutorials are delivered. This part of the building is best accessed via HA level in the Hunter Building, or from the rear of the building next to UON Global (across from Bar on the Hill). Entry via the 3rd walk way past UON Global gives access to the Nursing and Midwifery foyer. From the foyer take an immediate turn up the stairs to the upper level where RW rooms are located.
The Nursing Theatre can be accessed directly through the Nursing and Midwifery foyer. It can also be accessed via the Hunter Building.
