What are career-ready placements?
Career-ready placements mean real on-the-job experience for our students. These powerful experiences happen in partnership with industry, community, and government. How does it work?
The University is committed to developing work-ready graduates through a variety of career-ready placement activities.
- Workplace immersion
Students take on experiences relevant to the studies ‘in the workplace’ of the placement organisation, under the guidance of a placement supervisor (e.g. internships and clinical placements). - Industry impact
Students collaborate on industry-linked projects, working to produce specific deliverables for the partner organisation, who acts as a mentor and client, under the supervision of the University.
