We want you to feel safe, valued, and empowered in your workplace. We all have the responsibility to act in a safe way and ensure the safety of ourselves and others, both physically and mentally.
Everyone has the right to feel safe at work and there are ways that you can help to make our uni a safer place for everyone.
5 simple actions to look out for yourself and others
- Report any hazards and incidents.
- Move safely about campus, scanning for potential slip and fall hazards.
- Set up your work space, like your desk or work area so they are safe.
- Assess for risks before doing work.
- Practice good hygiene by washing hands and using hand sanitiser.
