Preparing ARC Budgets

Information on how to calculate salary costs for your budget can found from our Preparing Research Budgets page.

30% On-costs must be included in all salary requests.
Indexation cannot be included.
Salary increase due to increase in HEW step levels can be included.

Management of Data

Within the Project Description of your ARC proposal, you will be required to complete a ‘Management of Data’ section. A Data Management Toolkit is available on the University of Newcastle library website. We recommend contacting your Senior Research Librarian for all data management needs, including assistance with ARC proposals.
