Professor Lisa Toohey’s research focuses on the intersection of international law with global peace and security. It has a particular emphasis on economic statecraft, international trade and the peaceful settlement of international disputes.
Professor Toohey’s research interests include strategic policy and industry responses to international trade, economic coercion and grey zone warfare. This includes a focus on the weaponization of trade and the impact of geopolitics on the Australian economy and policy environment.
