Biography

Naomi Stewart is an Associate Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle, Department of Rural Health (UONDRH). Naomi is based at the McLean Learning and Development Centre, Inverell.

Naomi graduated from University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2018. Naomi has worked as a clinical physiotherapist rurally in both public and private practice, and aged care gaining a broad range of physiotherapy experience.

Naomi joined the UONDRH team in 2021 and is excited to be part of a team that focuses on facilitating student placements and learning, enhancing the health of local communities through community projects and conducting research into rural health issues.
