Ms Kristin Xenos

Kristin Xenos is a doctoral candidate at the University of Newcastle, Australia, where her research focuses on the evaluation of pharmacy prescribing education programs. Her doctoral work reflects a strong commitment to advancing pharmacist prescribing capability and ensuring education programs are fit for contemporary and future practice.

Kristin is the Course Coordinator and an Associate Lecturer for the Graduate Certificate in Pharmacist Prescribing and Advanced Practice at the University of Newcastle, Australia, where she is actively involved in curriculum design, teaching, and assessment.

She brings extensive professional experience across multiple sectors, including community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and government organisations. This diverse background informs her teaching and research, allowing her to bridge policy, practice, and education.

In addition to her academic role, Kristin contributes to the profession as a Subject Matter Expert for the Australian Pharmacy Council and serves as an Oral Examiner for the Pharmacy Board of Australia, supporting practitioner assessment.
