Biography

Kerryn is an Associate Lecturer in Speech Pathology with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health and is based in Port Macquarie within the Shared Health and Research Education Centre. As a graduate of the University of Newcastle, Kerryn has worked as a Speech Pathologist in rural areas within New South Wales since the commencement of her career across community and hospital settings with both paediatric and adult caseloads.

Kerryn is passionate about rural health services and enjoys working collaboratively with students and clinicians to support the provision of clinical placements to Speech Pathology students within the Mid-North Coast and Manning Great-Lakes areas. Within her role with the UONDRH, Kerryn aims to enhance student knowledge of Speech Pathology practice within rural areas and the unique clinical experience that this may provide.
