Biography

Rachel Urquhart is an Associate Lecturer in Speech Pathology with the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health at the Coffs Harbour campus.

Rachel graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology in 2010. She has worked as a speech pathologist in a variety of settings including both paediatric and disability fields, and most recently in adults.  She has experience with complex caseloads including laryngectomy and tracheostomy.

Rachel also works part-time as a Speech Pathologist at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus managing both adult inpatient and outpatients with communication and swallowing disorders and paediatric feeding inpatients.

Special interests include rural and remote health and clinical education.
