Biography

Jess is an Associate Lecturer in Nursing at the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health (UONDRH), based at the Tamworth Education Centre. In her role, she supports nursing students undertaking professional experience placements across the UONDRH footprint and serves as the simulation educator for the Rural Immersion and Study in Place Program in Tamworth.

A Registered Nurse since 2017, Jess brings a strong clinical background in emergency nursing. She joined the UONDRH team in 2023 and is passionate about creating supportive, enriching experiences for students during their rural placements.
