Career Summary

Biography

Daniel Ebbin is the Youth Practice Lead in the Name.Narrate.Navigate program for youth violence, and an Academic in the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Creative Industries.

Prior to his current roles, Daniel was State Manager - Child, Youth and Family Services for a National human services organisation and was responsible for 6 services across NSW and SA in the areas of Youth Justice, Child Protection and Homelessness.

Daniel's career spans almost 15 years, and his passion lies in Youth Justice practice, with significant contributions made over the years to amplify young people's voices in spaces where they are often unseen or unheard. Understanding how justice systems work for, or against young people, and the nuances between particular groups of young people, and their experiences of justice systems, has led Daniel to begin his research career in the area of Queer Criminology.
