Career Summary
Biography
As a former Federal Prosecutor and Registrar of the Court of Criminal Appeal, Alanna has a wealth of practical experience in criminal law and the administration of criminal justice. In 2018, Alanna moved from criminal law practice into academia, completing her PhD thesis on the topic of unreasonable delay in criminal trials ('Killing Time: The Challenges of Reforming Criminal Trial Delay) at the University of New South Wales.
Alanna has lectured at the University of New South Wales, University of Western Sydney and is currently an Associate Lecturer at the University of Newcastle's School of Law and Justice.
