NEXT Mentoring Program

NEXT is a mentoring initiative which pairs final year LLB and JD students with recent School of Law and Justice alumni for a six-month supported program designed to help new graduates transition out of law school and into the workforce.

Mentors


NEXT Mentors are School of Law and Justice graduates that are employed in arrange of professional roles. Mentors provide practical, real-world guidance to mentees while developing their own professional and leadership skills and connecting with the next generation of School of Law and Justice graduates.

Mentees


NEXT Mentees gain personal insights into the opportunities and challenges of employment, how to transition into a new career while balancing competing interests, and how to prepare for personal and professional success and set backs. As part of the registration process, priority is given to students with a demonstrated need for professional mentoring support.
