Ben is learning from the best to be the best
With an aspiration to provide the world’s best trauma care, University of Newcastle medical graduate and now doctor, Ben, chose to further his studies through the Master of Traumatology.
“I sought a program with lecturers who have real-world experience combined with remote delivery. I chose the University of Newcastle because they offered this specific program.”
The lecturers were able to provide a wealth of experience and first-hand knowledge to Ben.
“The program furnished me with skills in the short and long-term management of trauma patients. The international roster of lecturers were amazing,” Ben said.
Not only did the lecturers provide a backbone of knowledge and support, but the course content aligned perfectly with Ben’s career goals.
“The course was so relevant to my daily practice, each day felt like work integrated learning.”
The combination of both high-quality teaching and course relevance excelled Ben in his career.
“I’m part way through my training as an orthopaedic surgeon and will be fully qualified in three more years,” Ben said.
The future looks bright for Ben.
“My goal is to provide world’s-best trauma care in whatever region I end up practicing in.”
