Pursuing her Masters in Social Change and Development, Sujata’s journey from Nepal to Newcastle is one fuelled by passion and purpose.

"I was drawn to the University's esteemed standing and the comprehensive nature of its programs," Sujata reflects, as she considers the immersive nature of her subjects. "This program has empowered me to understand and address complex social challenges. It's more than just education; it's about equipping oneself to make a real difference in the world," she shares.

Her time at the Callaghan campus has been enriched by the university's state-of-the-art facilities, which Sujata finds instrumental in her learning journey. "The resources and environment here have significantly enhanced my academic experience, allowing me to delve deeper into my studies," she notes.

Looking ahead, Sujata envisions a future where she can be a voice for the voiceless, leveraging her education to advocate for societal well-being. "My goal is to work towards creating a more equitable world, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive," she states.
