Laura-Anne Bull

A champion of the student voice

For Professor Laura-Anne Bull, the role of Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Experience and Academic Registrar means she can champion the student experience for all students, irrespective of their background. She intends to make sure the student voice is front and centre and aligned with the University’s strategy ensuring students get to engage in the type of student experience they are looking for.

When students join the University, Laura-Anne’s goal is to ensure we provide them with the skills and toolkit they need to have the best student experience possible in preparation for the next stage of their life, either in the workplace or further study. She wants their relationship with the University to be founded on lifelong learning, and for every graduate to leave with a true connection to the institution.

For Laura-Anne, working to achieve these and her many other aims is a privilege.

“One of the things that excites me about my role is the alignment between the University’s core values and my own: commitment to equity and excellence, working with the community to provide opportunities for anyone who wants to engage in education, and ensuring that we provide everyone with the skills to succeed as they engage in the transformational journey that is education.”
