Dr Kirsten Molloy
Regional Leadership Award - 2019
As CEO of the Hunter Valley Coal Chain Coordinator (HVCCC), Kirsten Molloy leads the coordination of a globally-significant supply chain for a $23 billion industry. She has led the development of operational improvements, resulting in more than $600 million worth of trade moved at no additional infrastructure cost.
The industry has achieved record throughputs, reduced losses and lowest ship queue levels in HVCCC’s history. As the Chair and Co-Founder of the Equal Futures Project, Kirsten has engaged Hunter Business Leaders’ support for equity and inclusion initiatives, helping to address the lack of diversity in leadership and the gender pay gap at a regional level.
