Students from eligible campuses across Australia are invited to submit their Fiction and/or Non-Fiction work to be seen by a panel of industry professionals for the opportunity to win industry-relevant prizes and experiences.

What's up for grabs?
One major prize will be awarded per category;
- Major Prizes
Students have until 1st October to submit their entries to the Major Prizes. Submissions can be in the categories of Fiction or Non-Fiction and a panel of industry-relevant judges will score the submissions. One submission from each of the two categories will be selected to receive the Major Prize valued at up to $2000 per category.
- People’s Choice
One submission from each of the two Major Prize categories will receive the $500 People’s Choice prize for that category. The recipient will be the submission with the highest recorded number of public votes as of midnight on 29 October.
- Monthly Prizes
Themed monthly prizes will be announced via the National Campus Writing Competition news page. The team will also send reminders via email and on Facebook and Instagram. The hashtags to follow are #CampusWriting2020 and #LetYourWordsFly.

Can I get help with my entry?
The Student Life team from Student Central are available to assist you with your application by answering questions about the competition, offering guidance and advice, and reviewing your material before you submit it. They’ve also been in conversation with the creators of the competition and understand a few of the finer points that might help you get an edge.
