Bar on the Hill - Conditions of Entry
Patron safety is our priority. By entering Bar on the Hill, all patrons agree to the following Conditions of Entry.
Entry
- This is an 18+ event. Valid physical government-issued photo ID is required for entry.
- Tickets are only valid if purchased through an authorised ticketing agent.
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person at any time.
- Entry is subject to venue capacity.
- Re-entry/pass-outs are not permitted unless otherwise advised by venue management.
- Entry is at the patron's own risk.
Security Screening
- All patrons, bags and personal belongings will be subject to security screening upon entry.
- Security may use handheld metal detection wands where required.
- Refusal to be searched will result in refusal of entry without refund.
- Any prohibited item located during screening will be confiscated.
Responsible Service of Alcohol
Entry will be refused or patrons removed if they are:
- intoxicated;
- under the influence of drugs;
- behaving aggressively, violently or in an antisocial manner;
- refusing reasonable directions from venue staff or security.
Patron Behaviour
Patrons must not:
- engage in fighting, threatening behaviour or intimidation;
- crowd surf, stage dive or attempt to access restricted areas;
- throw objects;
- damage venue property;
- harass staff, artists or other patrons.
Anyone engaging in this behaviour may be removed without refund and may be referred to NSW Police.
Dress Standards
Management reserves the right to refuse entry to patrons wearing clothing or accessories that:
- promote violence, hate or discrimination;
- display gang, outlaw motorcycle club or criminal organisation insignia;
- conceal identity in a manner that impacts venue security (unless for medical or religious reasons).
Recording
Professional photography, filming or audio recording equipment is not permitted without promoter approval.
By entering the venue, patrons acknowledge they may be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted inside Bar on the Hill:
Weapons & Dangerous Items
- Firearms
- Knives or blades of any kind
- Knuckle dusters
- Batons
- Tasers
- Capsicum/pepper spray
- Explosives or fireworks
- Laser pointers
- Any item capable of being used as a weapon
Alcohol & Drugs
- BYO alcohol
- Illegal drugs
- Drug paraphernalia
- Nitrous oxide canisters ("nangs")
- Any unapproved controlled substances
Glass & Containers
- Glass bottles
- Glass drinkware
- Cans
- Metal drink containers
- Open beverage containers
Large Items
- Backpacks larger than A4 size (unless medically required)
- Large bags or suitcases
- Eskies or cooler bags
- Chairs or stools
- Umbrellas with pointed metal ends
- Flags or flag poles
- Banners attached to poles
Recording Equipment
- Professional cameras with detachable lenses
- Video cameras
- GoPros or action cameras on poles
- Selfie sticks
- Drones
Other Prohibited Items
- Flares or smoke devices
- Fireworks
- Aerosol cans
- Paint
- Permanent markers
- Chains
- Padlocks
- Tools
- Air horns
- Whistles intended to disrupt the performance
- Animals (excluding registered assistance animals)
- Any item deemed by venue management to present a safety or security risk
Additional Conditions
Management reserves the right to:
- confiscate prohibited items;
- refuse entry to anyone attempting to conceal prohibited items;
- refuse entry to anyone wearing clothing or carrying items likely to incite violence or antisocial behaviour;
- eject patrons whose behaviour compromises the safety or enjoyment of others.
Confiscated items may not be returned.
Failure to comply with these Conditions of Entry may result in refusal of entry or removal from the venue without refund.
