Anh shares his journey from Viet Nam to Newcastle.
The journey to the University of Newcastle, Australia, was both exhilarating and transformative.
Leaving behind the familiarity of home, I boarded a long-haul flight that marked the beginning of a new chapter. As the plane soared above continents and oceans, anticipation built steadily.
Arriving in Australia, the air felt different - warmer, infused with the scent of eucalyptus and adventure.
The train ride from Sydney to Newcastle was scenic, winding past stretches of coastline, bushland, and quaint towns, offering a preview of the natural beauty that would become part of daily life.
Stepping onto the Callaghan campus for the first time, I was struck by its harmonious blend of modern architecture and native bushland.
Students from around the world walked the paths, their voices blending into a multicultural chorus.
